Hundreds of volunteers are needed
on a regular basis. Without the help of these faithful workers
absolutely nothing could be done.
As our ministry grows more and more volunteers are needed.
Almost any skill you possess can be put to good use. A few
of these are listed here:
- Sort Christian Magazines
- Pack Orders
- Stuff mailings
- Copy and bind small booklets
- Computer inventory control incoming orders and shipments
- Keeping shelves stocked.

SHORT TERM MISSIONS & COMMUNITY SERVICE CREDIT
OPPORTUNITIES
Has there ever been a time when
you felt you would like to do something that would touch the
world, but didn't feel you could go overseas? Our ministry
provides a unique opportunity for anyone to gain first hand
exposure to missions work without leaving the United
States!
We especially welcome groups of teens interested in a taste
of short terms missions. Volunteering can also fulfil
requirements for Community Service electives as part of your
Christian School or home school high school level program.
We encourage churches and schools to send groups to help
work with us for a day or even a week at a time.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Through special arrangements
with a local area church, we are often able to provide
overnight accommodations in a comfortable apartment-style
facility with all necessary amenities for groups coming from
long distances. For details please call us!
We also recommend a local motel that offers reduced rates
to our volunteers. The motel has the best contenental
breakfast in town. Lunch is on us, at our office/warehouse.
The motel also offers snacks twice during the evening hours.
So, if you are not a big eater, you might not have to buy any
food. Otherwise you are free to explore our fine restaurants
on your own.
For those with RV's or other camping equipment, Point
Mallard Park provides an excellent 200-space campground across
town from our warehouse. For details click here.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES
If you are spending a week and
want a little leisure time, the Huntsville Space &
Rocket Museum, the Alabama Music Hall of Fame,
the famous Ave Maria
Grotto, the Helen Keller
home and Point
Mallard Park are all within a 40-mile radius.
Point Mallard
Park is located directly on the bank of the Tennessee
River and includes the nation's first wave pool, an
olympic-size swimming pool, golf courses, ball fields, picnic
areas, and for year round winter fun, an ice rink!
Of course, you could catch a movie or go roller-skating at
the Skate
Castle or eat at the "Rockin McDonald's" with authentic
50's decor and antique cars inside the restaurant!
We can provide brochures and maps for your convenience.
